Cambridge Conservation Volunteers - Cambridge Conservation Volunteers have been providing practical help to nature reserves in and around Cambridge since 1962. Open to all.

Cambridge Past, Present and Future - small membership charity and civic society run by local people to:

• Manage green spaces and historic buildings in and around the city

• Run events and education programme teaching people of all ages about nature and history

• Champion high quality planning and the sustainable development of Cambridge and its surrounds.

Cambridgeshire Climate Emergency - Goals:

• Train climate activists in community organising so they build a base and engage with their communities.

• Network these communities so they can learn from and support one another and connect with the public and private sector.

• Gather and publish data openly, and encourage the development of tools and resources based on it.

• Share and promote stories to inspire others to action.

Transition Cambridge - Aims to help Cambridge make the transition to ways of life that are more resilient in the face of rising energy prices and a changing climate. Hub group for many transition activities. Regular newsletter and activities.
