Join Pivotal at this scientific survey + family activity day at the beautiful community garden at Empty Common. We've got materials and activities to help kids of all ages find out how leaves help you get to know trees and other plants. There are also some chances to get creative with nature, and send the Earth your own Valentine.
The Hobson’s Conduit corridor, an important green lung of Cambridge, is under acute pressure as the city grows. This Bioblitz is the first in a series of events to take place over a 10 year span. The project involves setting up two sampling stations for 24 hours.
On Saturday afternoon at Empty Common site there is a fete to welcome residents, families and children to enjoy wider fun activities related to the Hobson’s Conduit. Weather permitting, we'll carry on into the evening with a campfire and music!
