True Tales for Change - Stand-up Storytelling Workshops

Everyone has a story to tell and everyone should have a chance to tell it.

Join two experienced storytelling artists to learn how to tell your own true story, live.

Two FREE workshops - open to anyone - attend one or both!

Led by:
Glenys Newton (Cambridge Bard) and Jill Eastland (artist and activist).

WHEN: Saturday, 4th January 2020 from 1pm to 4pm,
AND/OR
Wednesday, 8th January 2020 from 1pm to 4pm.

With an opportunity to perform your story on January 11th in a public event in the same space if you want!

Workshops are free, nibbles and drinks are provided.
Help with transport costs is available if needed.
Time credits will be offered to all participants.
Friend groups very welcome!

These workshops are part of an inequality art project, which is a collaboration between The Cambridge Commons and Pivotal. The mission of the project is to recognise that the wonderful city of Cambridge is also a city of inequality where many people’s stories remain unheard - and to change that!
